Charlie B is an EDM performer of Hardcore or Hardstyle. He grew up in Canvey Island, Essex, United Kingdom. He started MCing in 1992 in Cornwall at a club named The Shire Horse Back with a certain DJ called Mastervibe. In 1994 he moved back to his hometown Canvey Island where he met DJ Slipmatt and they started making music together. Through performing with Slipmatt on the weekend, Charlie B was able to get his name about and he gained a bit of a fan base in the area. 

Eventually, he was recognized by a few of the bigger promoters - like United Dance, Dreamscape, Slammin Vinyl, Helter Skelter - and they started to book him for gigs. Since then Charlie B has traveled all over the world performing at different festivals, clubs, and raves. Some of the countries he has performed in include the United States, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Spain, Marjoca, Australia, Jersey among others.

In 1997 Charlie B was featured on the track Comin' On Strong by DJ Slam as the lead vocalist. In 1998 he did the vocals for It's an Ardcore Thing by DJ Sy and another unknown MC. For five years Charlie B was a resident in Ibiza playing at Eden, Es Paradis, Summum. He has performed at Helter Skelter, Raveworld, and Slip Back in time.

Charlie B recently moved back to the UK, having won the Best Old Skool MC at the HTID awards (Hardcore Till I Die). Over the years Charlie B has worked with a number of DJs from all over the world, however, he continues to work closely with DJ Slipmatt and he is closely involved in the new Ravebreaks style which he and good friend Billy Bunter (also known as Daniel Bunter) are pioneering. Since moving back to the UK, Charlie B has performed in a few raves and he continues to explore the rave circuit in the UK.
